Boiler Service Plans

A boiler service plan, also known as boiler breakdown cover, is a policy you take out to cover the repairs of your boiler if it breaks down. It gives you peace of mind that should a problem arise with your boiler. One of our boiler engineers will be available to fix the problem. It also ensures any costly one-off repair expenses are kept to a minimum or avoided.

Boiler service plans offer many benefits, but mainly you save money on expensive boiler repairs and always have instant access to a Gas Safe registered boiler expert.

All our boiler plans do include repairs to your boiler, parts and labour. But the following is not included in your cover:
– Pre-existing system design, installation faults or inaccessible parts
– None emergency tasks as detailed in your user guide. e.g. re-pressurising systems, bleeding radiators, resetting controls or replacing batteries
– Faults caused by you or someone else you used for repair
– Damage caused by or arising from sludge, hard water scale and other debris in the central heating system and related pipework
– Damage caused by weather or freezing
– Faults when your home is empty or unoccupied for more than 28 days in a row
– Damage arising as a result of disconnection from, re-connection to or interruption of the gas, electricity or water mains services to your home
– Properties used as business premises (speak to us about a bespoke package)
– Smart Home or internet-connected thermostats or devices
– Taps & toilets or internal & external drains
– Showers and their parts, shower pumps, sanitary ware and sealant
– Radiators, water tanks or cylinders that are unrepairable
– Underfloor heating, towel rails, unvented hot water cylinders and non-standard parts
– Repairs to unvented cylinders are included, but the service of your cylinder is not. Add this for an extra £4 +vat

Boiler controls mean the following are covered:
– Thermostats
– Frost stats
– Clocks
– Timers
– Programmers

Our cover includes boiler breakdown and repairs to your boiler, including; all internal parts, all labour and your flue terminal.

Usually, yes, we do request that you book a boiler service before we begin your service plan. We do offer these services at a reduced rate of £60 + vat. This way, we can assess the health of your boiler and make any initial repairs to start your service with us in the right way. However, you can always contact us to discuss this further.
